Keldon K. Scott practices in the
areas of domestic relations, appellate advocacy, domestic
personal injury, and legal malpractice (domestic cases).
Mr. Scott is a past Chairperson of the Michigan State
Bar Family Law Section and the Ingham County Bar Association
Family Law Section. He has also been a member of the
American Bar Association Family Law Section and its Family
Law Torts Section. He has been very active in each of these
sections, and has served on several committees. He has
served the Michigan Supreme Court as a member of their
Family Law Court committee. And, he has testified numerous
times before the legislature on family law bills.

Mr. Scott is a former member of
the board of directors of Pro Bono Legal Services and is a
frequent lecturer and author for the Family Law Sections of
the State Bar and the Ingham County Bar Association. He has
been a speaker, moderator, and organizer for many Institute
of Continuing Legal Education and Michigan Judge’s Institute
family law courses.
He has authored numerous
articles for the “Michigan Bar Journal” and the “Michigan
Family Law Journal.” He is also an author of chapters for
West’s Family Practitioner’s Series and ICLE’s Michigan
Family Law. He has appeared on national television
(“American Justice”) and several radio broadcasts.
Mr. Scott has two adult children. He is a Green Bay Packers
fan. He loves to travel, including regular trips to Las
Vegas, Florida and Lake Tahoe. He golfs, bowls, boats, scuba
dives, and he loves to sing. He sings with the Capitol City
Chordsman and sings bass in a barbershop quartet.
